This week our X24 Skipper students have been working on consolidating numbers 1-1000, since the spontaneous recall of this material is often tested at GCSE level. After a deceptively difficult ‘do NOW!” task that flummoxed most students, we revised the numbers using a notices and wonders protocol before racing to spell numbers in Spanish that had been randomly generated in English. I was delighted with the very high levels of productivity from X24 students.
