Miss Liversidge – Learning Coach

Previous to joining XP school I worked in primary education. This change in my career direction occurred after attending University and achieving a Bachelor of Arts, first class. Elements of my study included expeditionary type teaching and creating lesson plans for students and children. This gave me a taste for teaching and the drive to work within the education sector, which ultimately led me to XP school. I have also volunteered and worked for various arts organisations and have countless hours of media and performance experience.

As a co-crew leader at XP, I have already seen great changes in our students. I am very proud of my student crew and look forward to watching each of them as they journey through school life in preparation for university, adulthood and beyond.

I feel honoured in being selected as a member of this pioneering school. I thoroughly believe in the culture and expeditionary methods of teaching that makes XP a valuable learning environment for the current and future generations of Doncaster.

In addition to my position at XP School, I am also a founding partner of a UK engineering company, specialising in quality assurance and inspection within the nuclear, oil and gas industries.

I am also a proud parent to my two sons, who have two cats and two dogs. Some of my favourite pastimes include: visiting the theatre, reading and exploring new places.

The culminating event to our staff induction is an Educator-Led Conference, where staff prepare speeches, critiqued by their peers, which answer the guiding question:

“What kind of person, and what kind of educator do I want to be at XP?”
