As we are starting new expeditions, students will have a bespoke timetable for the coming week.
Class of 24 (Year 7)
Year 7 have PE twice each week, in their X block session and with the Rovers on a Friday. There is no X block this week due to immersion, so students will only need their PE kit on Friday 8th September. We will post a notice later in the week to let you know on what days your son or daughter has their PE X block session and these will start in the w/c 11th Sep. Students can bring their phones to school this week, but there is no need to bring their own larger devices such as tablets or laptops until they have had a session with Mr ap Harri on e-safety.
Class of 23 (Year 8)
Year 8 do not have X block this week due to immersion; we will post a notice later in the week with their new X block groups. Year 8 now have an additional PE session during the day on Mondays with Rovers’ staff. This will start on Monday 11th September. Year 8’s Friday afternoon PE sessions will now be run by XP staff as the Rovers now need to accommodate XP East’s Year 7 on Fridays too. Year 8’s first Friday PE session will be on Friday 15th September.
Class of 22 (Year 9)
Year 9 do not have PE this week due to immersion. They will be given their timetables this week, but PE is not part of X block for Year 9 and is now during the day on Fridays, so their first PE session will be on Friday 15th September. Friday afternoons will now focus on the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award.
Class of 21 (Year 10)
Year 10 do not have PE this week due to immersion. They will be given their timetables this week, but PE is now during the day on Fridays for all of Year 10, so their first PE session will be on Friday 15th September. Friday afternoons will continue to focus on the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award.
