Dear parents
As part of our first expedition in Year 10 we are taking students, both Admiral and Skipper, to York for the day on Wednesday 6 September. Students will need a packed lunch and dress in casual, comfortable clothing. The coach will leave at approximately 8.35 so students will need to register in crew and then we will leave for York. After lunch we will head back to school, leaving York at approximately 1.15pm, so we should be back before the end of school. The day will consist of a tour of a famous Viking site in York and a lecture on the Vikings.
IN ADDITION, WE ASK THAT WHERE POSSIBLE THAT STUDENTS BRING A PORTABLE DEVICE SUCH AS THEIR PHONE OR TABLET SO THAT THEY ARE ABLE TO MAKE NOTES AND TAKE PICTURES. GOOGLE DOCS AND DRIVE WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THE SESSION.
